| Strategic Planning |
In 2010, the Project FINE Board of Directors began to develop a strategic plan to guide the organization for 2011-2014. The goal of the strategic planning was to develop a road map for Project FINE containing organizational goals and strategies to be used as a tool to meet the needs of newcomers in our community. This plan will serve as a roadmap for the organization for the next three years. |

| In 2006, the Project FINE Board of Directors developed a Strategic Plan, designed to be a road map for the organization. The plan was put into effect in 2007, and this summary, created in 2010, outlines all of the goals, strategies and accomplishments related to the Strategic Plan and our activities over the last three years. |

| "There's No Place Like Home" |
| The video, created in Fall 2009 by participants of Project FINE youth programs, illustrate a common bond that we have with each other. The children explain the importance of home and share with us how their homes are different, yet very similar with other homes. Through their stories, we find that "there is no place like home." |

"Taste of International Cuisine" Fundraising Event |
| The Annual Fundraising Event is held to help raise funds to support the Project FINE's mission and vision. Held at the Visions Center of Signatures Restaurant, attendees enjoyed an evening of cultural sharing, delicious international dishes, and performances. |

Project FINE was honored to participate in this community fundraiser, held in August of 2011. Dr. Connie Gores, Vice President for Student Life and Development at Winona State University, danced for Project FINE and did a wonderful job, taking third place in the competition. The event raised $1,184 for the Project FINE College Education Connection Scholarship Fund, deisgned to help students from immigrant and refugee families pursue post-secondary education. |
